Mitten questionnaire

The Questionnaire:

What are your favorite colors? Blue, green
Are you a new mitt knitter? How long have you been knitting mittens? Since I was a kiddo
Do you prefer solid or multicolored yarn? Doesn't matter; what I DON'T like are light-colored mittens; they get grubby far too easily.
What fibers do you prefer in mitten yarn? Wool or a predominately wool blend
Where do you usually knit mittens? Sitting on the couch while watching TV or talking my head offHow do you usually carry/store small projects? I have a knitting basket
What are your favorite mitten patterns? Cheerful ones. I think mittens are a happy type of clothing
What are your favorite mitten knitting techniques? Using DPs--I love not having to sew up any seams and they seem to fit the hand better.
What new techniques would you like to try? Circs
What are your favorite needles for knitting mittens? DPs
What are some of your favorite yarns? I like no-nonsense durable worsted weight for mittens: Cascade 220, Imperial Stock Ranch, Patons Classic
What yarn do you totally covet? Anything with cashmere
Any pattern you would love to make if money and time were no object? Something with cashmere
Favorite kind of needles (brand, materials, straights or circs, etc)? Don't have a favorite but when using DPs I like wood or bamboo.
If you were a specific kind of yarn, which brand and kind of yarn would you be? MERINO!!! But I don't know what brand
Do you have a favorite candy or mail-able snack? Anything with toffee or butterscotch
What’s your favorite animal? Dog
Would you prefer super warm mittens or something more like fingerless mitts? Super warm
If you were a color what color would you be? Ocean blue
What is your most inspiring image, flower, or object in nature? Ocean waves
Do you have a wishlist? Nope
